Point
1.Select a defined element, such as Col-1, and then click Point.
2.Click to select a point as the insertion point of the element.
3.If you need to rotate the element a specific angle to meet special requirements, select the Rotation Point check box, and then enter the rotation angle.
4.In the drawing area, click to select a point as the insertion point of the element.
Note
1. When drawing area elements by Point, such as room, slab, canopy and so on, you can only perform the operation in enclosed areas.
2. When drawing column, slab opening, pad foundation, pile, pile cap and other elements, before inserting, you can press F3 to mirror them horizontally, press Shift+F3 to mirror them vertically, and press F4 to change the insertion point.
3. If the insertion point of element is not the intersection of axes, you can offset the insertion point, that is, hold down Shift while clicking the insertion point, and then in the following window, enter the offset value and click OK.
4. When drawing area elements by Point, such as room, slab, canopy and so on, you can only perform the operation in enclosed areas. If the area is not enclosed, the following window will appear.
In the Gaps Check window, you can:
- Double-click the error items to locate the gaps.
- Click Auto Process to deal with the gaps automatically.
- Click Extend to deal with the gaps manually.
Line
You can use this method to draw linear elements and area elements.
1. Select a defined element, such as Wall-1, and then click Line.
2. In the drawing area, click a point and a second point to draw a wall, and then click a third point to draw another wall between the second and third points. To draw more walls, repeat this operation. To move from one point to a discontinuous position when drawing lines continuously, right-click to stop temporarily, and then click on a new axis intersection to select the first point and start drawing continuously again.
Note
When selecting the endpoint of a linear element, if the point is not on axis intersections, you can hold down Shift while clicking the base point, and in the following window, enter the offset value and click OK. You can press F4 to change the insertion point.
Rectangle
You can use this method to draw linear elements and area elements, and draw rectangular enclosed areas in drawings easily.
- Select a defined element, such as Wall-1, and then click Rectangle.
In the drawing area, click the two endpoints of the diagonal line of a rectangle.
