When identifying entities, the lines representing roads, plants and so on always affect the viewing experience. To control the display of redundant information, you can use Show/Hide Selected CAD Entity.
Show Selected CAD Entity
- On the IDENTIFY tab, go to the Manage Drawing group, click the arrow next to Layer Manager, select Show Selected CAD Entity from the list, and the Entity Selection Mode box will appear at the upper left corner of the drawing area.
- Choose the selection mode you want to use. Select by layer is the default option. You can change that based on your own needs.
- Select the CAD entities you want to keep, right click to confirm your selection, and then all entities will be hidden except the selected ones.
Hide Selected CAD Entity
- On the IDENTIFY tab, go to the Manage Drawing group, click the arrow next to Layer Manager, select Hide Selected CAD Entity from the list, and the Entity Selection Mode box will appear at the upper left corner of the drawing area.
- Choose the selection mode you want to use. Select by layer is the default option. You can change that based on your own needs.
- Select the CAD entities you want to hide, right click to confirm your selection, and then the selected entities will be hidden.
Restore Hidden Selected Entity
- If you have hidden entities using Show Selected CAD Entity or Hide Selected CAD Entity, the Restore Hidden Selected Entity command will be activated. Otherwise, the command will be unavailable.
- On the IDENTIFY tab, go to the Manage Drawing group, click the arrow next to Layer Manager, select Restore Hidden Selected Entity from the list.
- After clicking it, all of the entities that have been hidden will be shown again.
