To use the entity attributes in RVT/IFC as conditions for Filter and View Quantity by Category, you can use Match Attributes, helping you to match all attribute values in RVT/IFC with attributes in TIO.

For example, if you want to use RVT ID as the condition for Filter and View Quantity by Category of columns in TIO, you can in the Element Type column, select Column; in the Match Settings column, select an attribute randomly, such as Remarks; and then in the drop-down list, select GUID, and then click OK. The Remarks attributes of all column entities will be matched with the RVT ID attributes. In Attribute Editor, go to Remarks, you can see a series of numbers. This number series is the RVT ID.

If you want to use RVT ID as the condition for View Quantity by Category, after performing ∑ Calculate, click View Quantity by Category, select Column, click Set Classification and Quantity, select Remarks, and then click OK. The quantity info will be displayed according to the RVT ID.

Note

TIO does not support matching all attributes. You can only match Name, Summary Info, Remarks and some construction attributes.
